Will using Mobile Defense affect my battery life?

Mobile Defense is designed to use a minimal amount of battery. It does not run continuously in the background and only wakes up when a command is issued or a routine check-in takes place. If the user chooses to turn automatic backups on, it will also wake up to perform them but only when you plug your device in. Battery usage during an active tracking session is comparable to the Google Maps application.
